Before I jump into my weekend update I just want to say, a few posts back I answered a question that stated "what famous person would you most like to meet" well, I want to change my answer. Now there's a bunch of people I'd love to meet like: Brad Paisley, KChes, Mr McGraw, the Duck Dynasty crew, Zak Bagans, Sanzenbacher, Omar Vizquel, Hannahan, Laurinaitis, Zac Efron, Ryan Reynolds, etc etc etc. but I'd really love to hang out with Rob Dyrdek for a day. He's hilarious and crazy AND he's from Ohio. Every time I watch Fantasy Factory or Ridiculousness I wish I was there. As a camera crew member or a friend of Robs or something.
Anyways...
Friday::
I picked up my bridesmaid dress from being altered! Only three... THREE... more weeks until my older brother gets married! After picking up my dress I made a quick stop at Kohls, before going to volleyball practice. We had team pictures, which took forever, so we just let the girls make posters to hang in the gym. It was an easy Friday back-to-school practice for them. From practice I went to Panini's for dinner. I switched things up -normally I get the Panini Wrap (its soooo good!) but this time I went with the Philly Wrap. It was good, but not as good as the Panini Wrap, I think I'll stick with my usual from now on. Once my stomach was full I went home and watched TV, and yes I watched Ghost Adventures. I mean, it was Friday. In this particular episode Zak Bagans (who makes the show with his out-of-control-ness) and his crew went to the Mansfield Reformatory -right here in Ohio, where parts of Shawshank Redemption was filmed. Anyways, they do these overnight ghost tour things and one day I want to do it. One day I will do it.
Saturday::
Woke up bright and early to attend a Heart Walk in Cleveland with Randy and Melissa. Randy's company, Philips, made a team so I joined too. We walked three miles, which wasn't hard to do, but it was quite hot outside. After that we decided to grab some lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, Hooley House. They have delicious burgers, and fries, and wings, and everything! I got the BBQ Chicken Wrap, it was delish! From there I came home and get ready for work. Worked 3 - 8pm at Beans Coffee Shop. Finally ending the day by going to my Uncles to dog/house sit. I watched some Food Network, and the Hunger Games -and actually enjoyed it (I feel that a lot of people were bashing it) however, I did like the book better, but the movies was good too. I rate it a solid B.
Sunday::
Just relaxed all day, as usual.
life is good
Sounds like a great weekend! I def need to re-watch The Hunger Games because I think I was too hard on the movie the first time around.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up :)
It was a fun weekend, nothing too crazy, which was nice.
Delete"Solid B" is a fair grade for the 'Hunger Games' movie. A movie can never give you all the details a book can. Yes, some characters and important stuff were left out, but not 'Gone With the Wind'-level leaving stuff out.
ReplyDeleteMovies are a snack; books are a buffet.
I like that "movies are a snack; books are a buffet" -so true!
