I'm back from vacation, and all caught up on Big Brother. this season is ridiculous with the showmances. and I love that America is the mvp now.

Aaryn:: can't believe she got HoH, but glad she stuck to her word with Helen. still don't like her though, she's so condescending.

Amanda:: sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't. she puts too much pressure on people to nominate who she wants and I hate that. I also think it's super weird that she loves Crea.

Andy:: he's been flying under the radar which is exactly what I thought he would do. it's working for him, if he keeps quiet a few more weeks then wins an HoH he could stay stafe.

Candice:: I don't know what it is about her but she kinda bugs me.

Elissa:: starting to get annoying. she's starting to be rude, what just because America is the mvp so we can't give it to her she has to be all pouty? shut up. and we all know Aaryn is a bitch, but you're stuck in a house with her so just deal with it. don't make it more awkward than it has to be.

GinaMarie:: that accent and her "I'm so tough" attitude kills me. and give Nick a rest already, he doesn't like you.

Helen:: completely running the house, and doing it smart. everyone thinks it's Amanda running the show, but lately it's been Helen. good for her.

Howard:: might be going home this week if he doesn't get veto.

Jessie:: still as annoying as the first day she walked into the house.

Judd:: I think you're hilarious. keep laying low and don't do anything stupid to make people mad at you.

Crea:: you're playing a good game, but I still think you're weird.

Spencer:: I think you're time is ticking, you could go home if you don't win veto.

before I get to my vacation, I'll give ya a recap of the Toby concert.

we went down at about 130 and tailgated until 7. it was one awesome time, with some great people.. we had a huge group.

the concert itself was awesome. Toby always puts on a great show and I love Kip Moore. I tried to take a picture but it was super blurry.. don't think it had anything to do with the alcohol.

Nashville was amazing, Kings Island was a blast. I had a seriously good time.

this week it's back to working, a lot. dog sitting my niece Lois, and the Blake Shelton concert on Thursday! still busy busy busy.

heyheyhey! just popping in for a second to give ya my thoughts on this weeks Big Brother episode. before I do that, in case ya missed it, I'm leaving for vacation on Saturday for a week (going to Nashville, TN, and Kings Island in Cincinnati, OH) I'm super pumped. but unless I decide to schedule some posts I won't be posting during that time.

anyways, back to Big Brother.

can I just start by saying I'm SO BUMMED that Nick got evicted. he was the only person I wanted to win the whole thing.

Aaryn:: you're a bitch. you're rude, disrespectful, and you couldn't possibly be playing a worse social game. when you get outta that house America will have one hell of an awakening waiting for you.

Jeremy:: still don't like you.

Kaitlin:: you're annoying.

Helen:: congrats on winning HoH! but STOP CRYING, this is Big Brother. knock it off.

Amanda:: some days I like you, some days I don't. like when you stood up to Aaryn after the bed situation, I liked you. but then you go and try to bully Elissa to put up Howard, thats not your call, shes the mvp she can do what she wants.

Andy:: don't hate you, but I feel like you're not doing much.

Candice:: keep doing your thing. you're alright I guess.

Elissa:: I do like you somewhat, but I'm getting tired of you being mvp. I wish America would let someone else test the waters. but you're still going strong, keep it up.

GM:: for God's sake, STOP CRYING ABOUT NICK. you're obsessed. it's disgusting. you knew him for like, what, three weeks? c'mon.

Howard:: I like you, but you're a horrible liar. people aren't going to trust you anymore. you're time is ticking.

Jessie:: you just bug me. everything about you is annoying to me. sorry not sorry.

Judd:: you're cool. just play smart, don't do something dumb. I hope you go far.

Crae:: I don't trust you. theres just something fishy about you, plus you kinda freak me out.

Spencer:: I did like you, but then you turned on the moving company. now I don't like you. and I think you're time is ticking.

typically I'd do a weekend update post but all I really did was drink a crap-ton on Saturday. family dinner on Sunday, and watch A Good Day to Die Hard on Friday.

with that said, I will not be posting much this week. as I'll be super busy. I have to work and dog sit today through Wednesday. plus have dinner with gram and a work meeting during that time. Thursday I have to finish packing, run errands, and do a family party that night. Friday is the Toby Keith concert all day. then we leave for vacation Saturday morning for a week. so, I'll be very m-i-a the next two weeks. with that said, if anyone wants to guest post just email it to me (clane5105@gmail.com) and I'd be happy to schedule it. 

I might be around on Thursday, if I find some time. if not, I'll see ya the week of the 29th. I must be going now though, so I'll leave you with this,

a lot of people have been saying this is the worst part of the sports world. why? I mean, I understand that football hasn't begun yet, basketball and hockey are over, but baseball is happening. what's so bad about baseball? I personally love going to summer ball games.

I often talk about my Tribe boys. but today I'll break it down a bit more for ya.

my favorite Tribe players (past and present.)

Omar Vizquel. my favorite baseball player of all time. he was the first player I ever truly supported, in any sport. he's retired now, but he was a fantastic player. even helping my 95//97 boys make it to the World Series.

Jim Thome. what's a list of Indians players that doesn't include Mr. Jim Thome. I mean c'mon, the dude was a beast.

Asdrubal Cabrera. currently my favorite player. gotta stick with that #13, ya know? ACab is my homeboy.

Jack Hannahan. I'm SO pissed that he's not with the Indians anymore. like you don't even know. sure, he's not the greatest player but I don't care, he was one of my favorites. and I want him to come back home.

Kenny Lofton. like Jim Thome and Omar Vizquel, you just can't have a list of Tribe guys that doesn't include KLoft. he's Kenny mothereffen Lofton. (besides, he was Randy's favorite player.)

Ryan Raburn. you don't get much playing time, but I still think you're great. plus, your walk up song is country so you're good in my book.

Nick Swisher. "swishy" you're kinda crazy and I love it. keep bro-ing it up. brOhio baby!

Parrot Bay: Mudslide

I enjoyed it for the first time at Lane Party 2013 and this stuff is awesome. there's an orange flavor too, but I like this one more. it's already alcoholed up all you have to do is put some ice in a blender and pour in the mix. and blend away. it's cold and refreshing on these hot July days. it's pretty damn good too.

Weekend Update - #LaneParty2013

Saturday::
our annual 4th of July party. "America, Fuck Yea" party if you will. or as many refer to it, Lane Party 2013. it was a great time.

there was corn hole, pong, fireworks, bonfire, country music, cold drinks, good food, great friends, and the best family. there was me walking all the way back to our fire pit without my flip flops or my drink before I realized I wasn't wearing flip flops nor did I have my drink. oops. there was pop rock jello shots. there was Randy and I going undefeated in pong. there was American Flags. there was rain and sunshine. there was my friend falling asleep on a slab of cement next to the fire.

there was a huge gust of wind that basically came outta nowhere and the tent blew away and that's what it looked like in the morning.

I didn't take this picture, but a friend did. I have a video of the whole thing which I'm trying to upload to youtube currently. I'll post the vid on here once it's done. it was an awesome show, but since it rained the ground was wet so some of the fireworks misfired -no one got hurt though.

can't wait to see what Lane Party 2014 brings!

Big Brother (and I don't mean Randy)

I'm talking about the tv show Big Brother. it's one of my all-time fav shows. this year, Kelsey is hosting a link-up for the show (cue my excitement). anyways since the show is still new this season I'll give ya a run down of the cast members and my opinions of them.

Nick:: he's my favorite so far, because not only does he seem like the most normal person but he's also orig from Columbus, OH. Go Bucks!!

McCrea:: he's weird, but I love his underdogness. I mean a scrawny pizza delivery boy comes in and kills it in the first Head Of Household comp.. beats out all these tough dudes.. that's what I like to see, keep it up crea!

Spencer:: sorry, but I just don't think you're going to win this. I think you'll ride some coattails and maybe make it somewhat far, but then you're gone. I just don't think you'll have the social game that you need to be a success. but you're not a bad person, so I hope you'll prove me wrong.

Aaryn:: not sure about the spelling of your name, why can't it just be Erin? anyways, you're my fav of the girls since you're the most normal one of the girls. plus you're a country chick and we have to stick together. I think if you play smart and not fall head over heals for some deuch you'll make it far.

Amanda:: I get you and Kaitlin confused. you seem alright, but I don't think you have winning potential.

Andy:: you're killing me with that cat shirt. please burn it. sorrynotsorry. that's all I have for you right now.

Candice:: you're not making it anywhere unless you get lucky.. but you're better than some of the other girls, so at least you have that.

David:: you're hair is fucking annoying, and I hate it. you're dumb as rocks. and you're ugly. that's all.

Elissa:: did you really think no one was going to find out you're Rachel's sister? you look and talk EXACTLY like her. which is not a compliment, since Rachel is annoying and I hate her.

GinaMarie:: you are the loudest person ever. can't you just shut up? geez.

Helen:: I feel like you're going to fly under the radar. which could help you get somewhat far in the game. but you seem nice, so good luck.

Howard:: I'm not sure what to say other than watching you in the cooler have/havenot competition was hilarious. you trying to float on the floatation device, and then you say that you forgot to hold your breath when you went underwater... umm, what?! how do you forget that? you had me cracking up. thanks.

Jeremy:: you look like some kinda vampire thing. and your hair is stupid.

Jessie:: I may dislike you more than Elissa and GinaMarie. you think you're all that, but you're not. you suck. sorrynotsorry.

Judd:: I like you cause you're country. but I don't think you're going to make it far unless you get in an alliance. so work on that.

Kaitlin:: I get you and Amanda confused. I actually don't remember anything you've done so far.. so, there's that.

I'm excited for tonights episode, I can't wait to see who got the first mvp.
as far as next week's mvp, people might give it to Crea.. possibly Nick or Aaryn. I know I'll be voting for Nick.

Weekend Update - Rascal Flatts

Friday::
the Rascal Flatts concert. it was my first time seeing them in concert, and I have to say they did better than I expected. really good show, and another great time. we left at about 230 and tailgated until 7, like usual. I didn't take many pictures this time though, but here they are...

recovery day. watched some FoodNetwork, cleaned out my car, saw Monsters University with momma (it was SO GOOD. baby Mike Wazowski is my favorite). a quick bite at Steak N Shake, then home to watch Up and end off the night with Identity Thief, which was also good and funny.. I love Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy.

Sunday::
watched The Lake House and The Proposal. two fantastic movies. The Proposal is one of my favorites. watched a few more episodes of The League and Psych. I'm practically done with season two of Psych, and getting close to finishing season two of The League. making serious progress with this Netflix Instant Streaming.  

tonight I'm attending a Captains baseball game, as long as it doesn't rain out again.
