Lucky like a Leprechaun

last night was one of the best sporting events I've ever been to.. and that's saying a lot.. I've seen walk-off home runs, I've been on the jumbotrons more times than I can count, I've gotten baseballs and such..

last night I went to my very first Lake Erie Monsters hockey game. they're just an AHL team in Cleveland. but holy cow was it awesome.

it started off with me getting a puck! a freaking hockey puck from Matt Tassone #26. Thanks Matt!! my cousins girlfriend has been trying to get a puck forever, I go to my very first game and get one.. can you say Luck O' the  Irish?!

it was also "Thirsty Thursday" which meant $2 beer and $5 margs. so of course I had to draaaank some margs.. well 'strawberry daqs' technically, but whatevs.

I also made it on the jumbotron 4... yes, FOUR, times!

I hit 5 players hands post-game.. yepp, FIVE. and almost got a broken stick.. if it was just a little more useless I woulda had it.

 we, the four of us, started a "wooo!!" chant that went to multiple sections around the arena, was featured on the jumbotron, and yelled through the pa system. I kid you not. and it was all our doing. (I know everyone yells "woooo" at games but this was like a specific loud short woo.. and it was all us!) I cant believe it made it all the way to the people who put things on the jumbotron, that was crazy awesome!

I got a $24 shirt for $20 and a free shot glass.

and to top it all off the Lake Erie Monsters won!!

it was one hell of a time. we're going back next Thursday because it was so much fun. loved every second of it, definitely a night to remember!!!!
