when did it become February?

two-thirteen is already going too fast. I mean don't get me wrong, I want winter to be over with and summer concerts to begin more than anyone else, but it's already February.. in 2013.. I can't believe it's even 2013. anyways...

five things to do in my hometown..

well, I'm from a tiny town called Chardon, Ohio. and there is next to nothing in Chardon. so I'll give you a boring list of Chardon activities and then an exciting list of north-east Ohio.

Chardon::
1:: you can eat at one of the million pizza places we have.
2:: you can walk around the Chardon Square.
3:: you can play putt-putt at Chip's Clubhouse.
4:: you can go to Walmart, Giant Eagle, or Heinens.
5:: you can go sled riding/skiing/snowboarding at Alpine Valley or the chalet.
Bonus:: if you drive to Mentor, Ohio, about 25ish minutes you can go to the mall, see a movie, eat at a bazzillion restaurants, pretty much anything goes in Mentor. but one of the restaurants you can eat at is Melt -which was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and Man vs Food.

exciting stuff, right?!

not Chardon::
1:: you can go to a Cleveland Indians, CLE Browns, CLE Cavs, Monsters, Captains, game.
2:: you can go to CLE and party at the bars, or gamble in the casino, or shop at Tower City, or visit the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, or check out the Science Center, or visit the zoo.
3:: you can drive 2ish hours and go to Cedar Point and do all the fun things Sandusky, Ohio can offer you.
4:: you can drive down to Columbus and enjoy a Buckeyes game, eat at sweet restaurants, go shopping, etc etc. C-Bus has lots of activities.
5:: you can drive to Canton, and go to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

it's weird to think that people would actually want to come to CLE to see the Rock Hall.. growing up here you'd see the Rock Hall every other year for a field trip. and the other years you'd go to the Science Center.

exciting stuff, right?!

one:: going to the Monsters hockey game tonight, if it's half as fun as it was last time it'll be an awesome time.
two:: the Super Bowl was one hell of a game. mostly after the power went out and the 49ers actually started playing. but still a good game.
three:: Fat Tuesday is in one week, and then Lent begins, which means I have one week to eat as much ice cream, chips, and pop that I can. I always give up ice cream, chips, and pop.
four:: it seriously will not stop snowing. aghh. this is from the other day, we've had the pleasure of accumulating even more snow since...
gotta love the snowbelt.
five:: pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training next week.. baseball season is just around the corner.. woot woot!
six:: everyone has time for LukeB.

seven:: The Joe Schmo show is back on. or has been back on for a few weeks now. that show is HILARIOUS. it's basically just a fake reality show, as in, one of the contestants thinks it's all real the rest are actors. it's so funny. go watch it.
eight:: Michigan lost. hahaha. they're not number one anymore. sucks to suck. I'm speaking of college hoops btw.
nine:: Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow.. bring on the spring, bitches.
ten:: Thomas Rhett...
you're welcome.

SEVEN ~ NINE

obsessions. right now one would think I'd be obsessed with The Bachelor. especially since it's Sean. but instead I'm obsessed with hockey. is that weird? that's weird. sadly it's true though. I've recently became obsessed with hockey. I've never been a big hockey person but the other day I learned a lot of the rules and really got into it. Go Blue Jackets, and Go Flyers! I decided those are the two team I like. the BJackets lost last night, in a shoot out. it was intense and awesome, except for the fact that they lost.

 alright, seven people I'd like to meet. that's a tough one, there are so many people I'd like to meet. how am I supposed to narrow it to seven... I'll give it a shot though...

Brad Paisley
my favorite country singer. he's humble, funny, and a Cleveland Browns fan. match made in Heaven? I think so. move over Kimberly.

Rob Dyrdek
 Rob is hilarious, and crazy, and I love every second of it. I think he'd be super fun to hang out with. he makes me crack up. and he's a fellow Ohioan!

Zac Efron
 anyone that knows me, I think knows that I am in love with Zac. he's so freakin attractive. and look at him with that football.. are you kidding me?!

Luke Bryan
 oh Luke. just look at him. how would anyone not want to meet him. I mean seriously. he's funny, and country, and a fantastic singer. and he always wears a ball cap, that's just an extra bonus. he just seems like a genuinely nice guy.

Emma Stone
 I think Emma Stone is brilliant. I think she's hysterical, and a phenomenal actress. I love Easy A, and Crazy Stupid Love. It would be so cool to meet Emma, I feel like she'd be super down to earth.

Ellen Degeneres
 I love watching her talk show. Ellen is hilarious. and super nice, always giving to charities and giving away money/trips. and she tends to stay in touch with those people, which I think is awesome.

James Laurinatis
  my all-time favorite Buckeye. now playing for St Louis. he'll always be one of my favorite players, no matter what team he's on. "I got a disease, and it's called Laurinatis"

Dane Sanzenbacher
 another previous Buckeye. now playing for Da Bears. again, someone who will always be one of my favorite players no matter what team he's on. Go Sanzy!

Omar Vizquel
  former Indian, former MLB player. was my favorite player since I started having favorite players. I followed him from team to team always making sure I went to an Indians game when they were playing Omar. he'll always be my favorite ball player, even if he's retired now.

okay so that was nine.. but oh well.. deal with it.
and those were in no particular order.. although Mr. Paisley would probably be numero uno.

honorable mentions::
Seth MacFarland
Denzel Washington
Ryan Gosling
Jennifer Aniston
Carrie Underwood
Miranda Lambert
Kip Moore
Kenny Chesney
Tim McGraw
Jack Hannahan
Adam Sandler
Jake Gyllenhaal
Danny 'Boobie' Gibson
Asdrubal Cabrera
The Ghost Adventures guys
Josh Duhamel
Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings
etc.

but let's be real for a second. if any one of these people actually talked to me I'd have a heart attack. I'd probably just freeze and respond with something like "Mr./Mrs. (last name here) blah blah blah (like Charlie Browns teacher)"

EIGHT

I wasn't going to post today, but then I remembered it's Tuesday.. which means...

and this week is tv, how could I miss that?! here we go...

1:: The Office
this is an old picture. unfortunately now Steve Carrel is no longer on the show, and even more unfortunate this is the very last season. but not unfortunately this show is hilarious, love it.

2:: Modern Family
  this show is pure genius. hilarious. each character brings something important and I love it. Eric Stonestreet is brilliant. such a fantastic show.

3:: Cougar Town
 people are missing out with this one. a lot of people think it's about old ladies wanting young men.. it's not. it's about that group of friends and how they're friends and love to drink wine. it's hilarious. and everyone should watch it. it's on TBS now. and it's def worth watching.

4:: Community
 this show is SO FUNNY. it starts again in February. everyone needs to watch it, trust me on this one. you won't be disappointed.

5:: Parks and Rec
 another hilarious show. every character is hilariously funny. you cannot not laugh while watching this.

are you seeing a theme here, I like funny shows.

6:: Happy Endings
  just another funny show. these guys are a group of friends who are nowhere near perfect. their flaws are what make this show so great. give it a shot.

7:: The Inbetweeners
 it's on MTV. and it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. everyone will laugh at this show.. the whole episode. it's that good. hilarious.

8:: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
 it's on FX. and I am so glad I started watching this show. I started back at season one.. I'm currently going through season five and I cry laughing every episode. this has the possibility to be the funniest show I've ever seen. even funnier than The Inbetweeners - if that's possible.

go watch all of these shows. they're hilarious in their own way, and I promise you'll laugh like a wild hyena at them.

Luck O' The Irish

as I'm sure most of you know, I'm still new to blogging. I started in May, and thought to myself recently 'why not start sponsoring people' and 'why not offer it myself' so after signing up to Passionfruit and sponsoring Nathan @ LEEIB (all the sponsor money goes towards Toys for Tots this month!!) and Steph @ Bourbon & Glitter (who doesn't love her blog?!) I figured I'd make it available to all y'all. go to my sponsor page and "purchase" a spot now! It's FREE with promo code: football -who doesn't love free stuff?!

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would definitely.. without a doubt.. go to Ireland. being Irish I've always wanted to go there, and have started saving up money. one day I'll make it.

my family is from Cork County, the southern most county in Ireland. I would definitely spend a few nights checking out my "hometown". seeing where I come from.

I would also check out Dublin. I mean who would go to Ireland without going to Dublin? for reals. look how amazing this country looks. it's a beaut!

some of my extended family has been there, and they all raved about it. about the wonderful castles and how nice the people are. everything. I even have a shamrock tattoo that says slainte (meaning cheers or to good health.) one day I will make it there. one day.

if I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Ireland.

don't forget to get your FREE ad spot!! :)

and then go check out this awesome giveaway!

now that's what I'm talking about

My mind was just blown. I just received an e-mail from miss Stephanie @ Bourbon and Glitter, stating that I actually won something! I won Jenn @ Party of One 's Burt's Bees gift pack!! I lovelovelove Burt's Bees! and next week it's my birthday, so this is a marvelous early present! I'm so excited! :) :) :)

Describe your perfect day...

hmm, this one is tough. there's a thousand different things that I could do that would make my day perfect.

option one:: sleep in until I'm good and ready to get out of bed, mosey around -eat some breakfast, watch some Boy Meets World, or some other awesome show, then shower//get ready for the day. meet up with a few of my closest friends.. Malone, Erin, Ashley, Carrie, Olivia, D, Al, and go to a Tribe game. watch my Indians win, then back to the house to finish the night with my friends and family with a Lane Bonfire.

option two:: up earlier to shower//get ready for the day. meet up with a few of my closest friends and family.. and watch the Buckeyes win in the horseshoe, after tailgating all day. then hanging out with friends//family for an after party.

option three:: up early to shower//get ready for the day. meet up with my closest friends and go to a country concert at Blossom. tailgate before, and after, then back to the house to finish the night with friends and family with a Lane Bonfire.

option four:: fly out to Vegas with the family and live it up.

basically my perfect day is just doing something with my friends and family. that's all I need.

Beat Michigan Week - it's November 20, 2012 and Michigan still sucks!

My name is Cassie, and I'm a blogger.

Time for another Tuesday Topics with Tiffany and Lauren!
1. Why did you start blogging?
     Melissa suggested it right before my jaw surgery, since I'd literally have nothing to do all day. I figured why not document my life.

2. What's something your readers know about you?
      they know pretty much everything... or at least have a general knowledge of the basics.

3. What can't you live without?
      family and friends.

4. What inspires your blog posts?
      my crazy, busy, hectic, normal, average, life.

5. What do you do when you feel uncreative?
      since my posts are just about my daily life I don't have to be too creative. but I do get ideas occasionally from other blogs.

6. How has blogging changed you?
      I don't think it has changed me.. other than the fact that I have more 'friends' and love reading their posts.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers?
      stay true to yourself, blog about what you want to blog about not what you think others want.

8. What blogs inspire you?
      the blogs that I read regularly (Eleven Sixty; Bourbon & Glitter; A Buckeye in Badgerland; Career Desires to Bottles and Diapers; Mrs. Inappropriate; The Coffeehouse) and the ones I try to keep up with (Life and Everything Else In Between; Life Love Lauren; Austin Family Diary; Fantastically Average)  --they're all awesome!

side note: we're getting snow! I always love the first snowfall of the year... by the 2nd snowfall I'll hate it until Christmas Eve, then it's okay again, until January 2nd.. then I hate it until it's all gone.

I'd be rich...

It's a brand new link-up with Lauren and Tiffany!

Ten Things You Would Do With A Million Dollars

1) Pay off my college, Randy's college, and Melissa's college.
2) Buy Dad/Brian/Randy new vehicles.
3) Give some to Gram.. buy her a new house or something.
4) Have a treat-yo-self day once a month.
5) Take my family to Ireland.
6) Put some in my savings for a rainy day.
7) Donate to cancer research, and now with Hurricane Sandy donate to the Red Cross.
8) Get season tickets to the Indians, Browns, Cavs, and Buckeyes.. all good seats, every year, and for my family too.
9) Throw a giant "I'm a millionaire" party.
10) Buy my parents a new house, with a maid and landscaper -so they wouldn't have to do housework anymore.

Anyone remember this song?
