How am I supposed to pick just one picture when there's a bazillion that I love??
I could go with this one...
because who doesn't love a good drunk pic.. especially when it looks like you're flipping off the camera but really it's just a failed peace sign. Plus this picture makes me crack-up. (Malone and I).
or this one...
because who doesn't love going to Las Vegas with intense sunburn from the Brothers of the Sun concert. (Brian and I).
or maybe I should go with...
because there is too much cute for anyone to even handle. (Me and Randy).
but maybe I'll choose...
because I dont think someone can look at this picture without laughing. It's awkward and hilarious. (Me and Melissa).
then there's also this one...
because whos grandma takes shots of Jager with their grandchild on their 21st and actually likes it, loves it in fact. (Me and Gram).
or maybe I should go with a Halloween theme...
because Michael Myers is the best horror movie killer ever thought of. And his mask scares trick-or-treaters every year at the Lane Household. (Me 2009).
Even though I could choose any of those pictures, I think I'm going to go with...
a picture of Papa and I, years and years ago. Because how can you not love the Barney t-shirt, or my Papa for that matter. This is my one photo. This was perfection.

Postcard Facts
I can't believe I only have three more games this year, and only one more week after this one. Time sure has flown by.
Dear Buckeyes,
Congratulations boys! A 6-0 start to the season, not too shabby. Coach Meyer - I think you're doing one hell of a job so far, keep up the good work. Braxton - you have great running skills, but sometimes I think people overrate you. Keep working on improving, I think you can get there, but right now you're just not living up to the hype for me. Stoneburner - Wasn't impressed with you in the Nebraska game, and I feel like you haven't done much all season. Mr. Jim Tressel - You're no longer with the Bucks, and although Coach Meyer is doing a good job, no one can replace you. I think you're awesome and know that you're not forgotten about. It might be the Urban Renewal, but in Tressel we still trust. We got Indiana on Saturday boys, let's bring the juice and go 7-0 on the season! Go Buckeyes!
Best Wishes,
Cassie
Fact: I only have three more games left.
Fact: I have high expectations for this weekend. Should be a great one.
Fact: I love blogging. I love the people I've 'met' and reading their blogs, and I love everyone who cares enough to read my blog and leave comments.
Fact: I'm really tired right now.
Fact: The Browns suck; the Buckeyes are awesome.
Fact: I'm now the proud owner of Ghost Adventures seasons 1&2.
Fact: "My name is Zak Bagans, I never believed in ghosts until I came face to face with one" is my absolute fav part of Ghost Adventures.
Fact: I won Cavs tickets for the day before my birthday (Nov 28)!
Fact: AMC's Fear Fest starts this weekend, yahoo!
This week's You Challenge is two songs. This is a difficult one because there are SO many songs that I love. From country to rock to hip-hop. But I guess for my two songs I'll go with...
Laughed Until We Cried - Jason Aldean
Don't pay attention to the video. It's the only one that seemed to work. Anyways, this is one of my fav songs. I love it. I love laughing. I love laughing much you cry.
In Color - Jamey Johnson
I don't know why exactly, but this is one of my all time fav songs.
Those are my two, but I'm giving you an honorable mention as well.. aren't you lucky?!
Mud On The Tires - Brad Paisley

Dear Gram,
It was nice talking to you the other day, even if it was just on the phone. Once my life calms down a bit after volleyball we'll have to grab some lunch and/or dinner, maybe even a trip to Legacy. I hope you can make it to my game tonight. If not, it's not big deal, but if you can I'd love to see you. I always enjoy our crazy adventures, and its been a while since we've gone on one. I think the Brad Paisley concert this past summer was the last hoo-rah we had. Hope all is well, maybe I'll see ya later. Love you!
With Love,
Cassie
Fact: October is the best month ever. (according to Randy, and I have to agree it is a great month.)
Fact: Bears eat beets. (name that show....)
Fact: Randy made his status about October being the best, and I commented on it saying "Bears eat beets. Fact." doing this is making me think about that, for obvs reasons.
Fact: I'm pretty busy most of October, or at least on the weekends.
Fact: I started writing September for that last one instead of October. Oops!
Fact: This is my first "The Fact Is" link-up.
Fact: This past weekend was pretty fun, read about it HERE.
Fact: Melissa is back in the blog world!
Three films! Of course I'm linking-up for this one. I love movies, and I absolutely love my top three favorite movies of all time. By the way, Lauren and Tiffany, I think this is one awesome link-up, so thank you! :)
#1::
The Sandlot.
It's funny, and sports related, and totally '90s. How can you not love this movie, I mean seriously. If you haven't seen this movie, first off: you're killing me smalls (I couldn't help myself), second: you need to go watch it right now, and third: if you think its a stupid movie or anything like that all I have to say is, "if you were thinking you wouldn't have thought that" - Squints. Gosh, I love this movie. I love the hilarious one-liners. I love the baseball. I love Benny 'the jet' Rodriguez. I love that I still get chills when Benny steals home at the end. I love that Smalls is the announcer at the end. I love that I've seen this movies 574964 times and I still crack up. I love that Benny pickles the Beast. I love all the guys nicknames (yaya, ham, squints, smalls). I love everything!
#2::
Remember The Titans.
Again, how can you not love this movie?! It's so fantastic. It's about football, and camaraderie, and learning that the color of skin doesn't mean anything. I love the story. I love the characters. I love how they come together as a team. I love their singing and dancing. I love the memorable quotes: "Do not let them gain another yard! We blitz all night!" ;; "you make sure that they remember, forever, the night that they played the Titans" ;; "zero fun sir." ;; "Left side" "Strong side". I love this whole movie!
#3::
The Proposal.
I'm going with The Proposal, although Due Date and Halloween and The 'Burbs are close. The Proposal is hilarious, I crack up every time I watch it, not to mention Ryan Reynolds. Oscar from The Office, that guy is in the movie and his character is HILARIOUS. I can't even handle it. And at the end when they're doing the interview things oh my goodness I cry laughing. Plus I think Sandra Bullock is a phenomenal actress. My favorite scene is when Sandra is in the woods with Betty White and she starts singing that rap/hip-hop song -so freaking funny!
Now I want to go watch all three of these movies.
Maybe this weekend I'll have a movie marathon of all my favorites. Sounds like a good idea to me.
Happy Tuesday!!

FOOD.
I'm still under-the-weather. However, I'm loving this weather outside, it definitely feels like Fall now, and football.
So I'm sitting on my comfy couch (anyone ever watch The Big Comfy Couch growing up?) with BigRed. For those of you who don't personally know me, which is everyone but Melissa, BigRed is a giant red blanket.. the giantest, softest, warmest blanket known to man. And I'm bringing you my top five favorite foods, a day late.

one::
Cincinnati Skyline Chili
(which I've written about, here too)
my favorite food. It's spaghetti pasta, with skyline chili, topped with cheddar cheese, and it is delish! You can also add chopped onions, or kidney beans, if that's what you like. Oyster crackers go well with it, and of course, some hot sauce is a must.
two::
The American Hamburger.
Hamburger, not cheeseburger for me please (no, I'm not lactose intolerant, or anything like that, I'm just not a big cheese person.) I love me a good burger. And load it up -lettuce, tomato, ketchup, bacon, hot sauce, load it.
three::
Sweets.
Cookies, Candy, Ice Cream, Cake, Cupcakes, etc.
Ice cream is my favorite dessert, but if it has sugar in it I'm sure I'll love it. You could say I'm addicted. My favorite would be... chocolate moose tracks topped with some redi-whip and peanuts. YUM!
four::
Momma Lane's Chicken Parmesan.
Again, anyone who knows me knows that I do NOT like spaghetti sauce. I dont want it on my pizza, or spaghetti, or mozzarella sticks, or anything. Its gross, don't put it by me. But, I can handle plain jane tomato sauce. And thats exactly how my mom makes her Chicken Parm. Next time she makes it maybe I'll share the recipe with y'all. It's a winner fo sho.
five::
Perdue Chicken Nuggets.
Of course a Lane's food list wouldn't be complete without chicken nuggets.
Any chicken nugget is good, don't get me wrong. But my mom buys Perdue. You can buy them frozen or refrigerated, both are wonderful. An honorable mention nugget would be TGI Friday's chicken strips, if you haven't had them I'd definitely order them next time you hit up a TGIF.
There ya have it folks. My favorite foods.
