memories.

favorite childhood memory...
well, there's a few things I could list here.. and so that's exactly what I'm going to do...
::Papa my papa went to Heaven when I was a young gal and I still miss him every single day. he was a wonderful grandpa. I remember eating ice cream when we had sleepovers, jumping on the trampoline while he sprayed us with the hose, all of his animals, him dressing up as Santa every year even if we didn't know it at the time, him threatening us with the yardstick if we didn't behave ourselves, the way he talked 'well I'll be damned', him making us bologna sandwiches for lunch... I just wish I woulda been able to make even more memories with him, or been old enough to appreciate how great he was.

one of my favorite pictures ever.
::Summer Rec we went to "summer rec" every year. it was just a day camp thing where we'd play four square, or wiffleball, maybe some red rover, or make a few crafts. it was so much fun, and a bunch of our friends did it with us which made it even better. I loved that camp.

::Hawthorne the 2nd house I lived in, first house I really remember, and where I made some of my closest friends.. including Malone//Carrie//Olivia. most of the friends I made there still live in that development and I'm still friends with them to this day. growing up there was great, we'd run around outside all day long. playing capture the flag, prison, smear the queer, running bases, kickball//wiffleball, anything and everything.. drinking yoo-hoo, eating spaghettios, and just being kids. it was great, and I couldn't have asked for a better development//friends to start my life with.

that picture is doubling as my 'throwback Thursday' sometimes you gotta kill two birds but you only have one stone.

  5. Jumping on the trampoline & getting sprayed with the hose sounds like so much fun! We were ghetto so we only had the hose haha. Nonetheless, it was a blast. Ahhh to be young again.
