Nashville, TN (day one)

Nashville was so awesome, my crazy family had one hell of a time.

we couldn't fit with the car top carrier, so we went to plan B.

night one in Nashville, at Honky Tonk Central. me, mom, Brian
Broadway

the first people we talked to in Nashville were from Ohio.. go figure.

while we were in Honky Tonk (which is a three story bar that has a different band playing on each level, it was awesome) it started raining. the rain started coming into the bar off the little patio areas they had, so they had to close them up. it was too late though and there was water on the floor. so a worker comes over with towels to clean it up, Brian and I offered to help and she gave us free drinks!

we also found this sweet store that had an "I'm outdoorsy in that I like getting drunk on patios" koozie, and a mason jar that said "maybe it's the booze talking but I want you to know I love booze" so naturally I had to buy those. we also bought one of those giant hand solo cup things.

that guy in the last picture he was one of the singers in the bar Bailey's, we helped him carry his equipment out to his car afterwards, and during his performance he said "that table from Ohio is crazy!" -damn right we are. we also met the other singer Kelly Long, he was so good. and I guess he has an e.p. coming out in November, Brian and I already want to buy it.

oh, and my dad was in the men's room when another guy in there started saying how water was leaking and his toilet was broken, so my dad naturally felt the need to fix it. as a result the bar bought us a round of drinks.

night one was a success. I had a blast and had already fallen in love with Nashville in just a few short hours.

  1. So funny that you met people from Ohio! One time I met people who lived 10 minutes away from me at a traffic light in Amsterdam. :)
Your family looks like so much fun! Glad you had such a great time!
